Notable takeaways:

  • If you are targeting an older demographic (65+), Facebook might be your best choice. “More than half of all online adults 65 and older (56%) use Facebook. This represents 31% of all seniors.
  • If you are targeting a younger demographic, about half (53%) of 18-29 year-olds use Instagram. Of those, almost half (49%) use Instagram daily.
  • If your target market has a college eduction, 50% of online adults who use Linkedin have a college degree
  • If you are targeting women, Pinterest has the strongest presence at 42% women to 13% men.
